Mission Statement:

It is the mission of Genesis Preschool to create a safe, positive, and Christian learning environment for preschool students within Union County.
We promote care of the whole child by addressing each student’s spiritual, relational, intellectual, emotional and physical growth needs. This is implemented by competent, loving teachers using evidence-based practices.

Program Overview:
​Genesis Preschool has been developed as a mission of Imbler Christian Church. It is located in the new Imbler Christian Church building in downtown Imbler, Oregon.
Serving families of preschool children from ages 3-5, the preschool is staffed by a director/head teacher and an assistant teacher. These educators are dedicated to providing education based on Oregon's preschool common core standards with the goal of preparing students to enter the kindergarten classroom with confidence. We promote Christian education, incorporating Biblical lessons and songs into students' daily routines.

Morning Preschool:
8:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M., Mon.-Thurs.
Extended Day Program:
11:30 A.M.-3:30 P.M., Mon.-Thurs.

As the mother of three, Aidee brings ample homeschool teaching experience and expertise to Genesis Preschool. She also formerly served as a special education teacher in the Scio School District.

Statement of Faith:
Due to Genesis Preschool & Daycare's connection to Imbler Christian Church, the educators involved with this preschool are required to sign a statement of faith guaranteeing that they have beliefs that align with the doctrine taught by the church.
Our academics will be biblically based and the interactions among students, teachers, and families will be founded on a basis of love, forgiveness, and grace. This will aid in fostering a safe and positive learning environment for the students and families enrolled at Genesis Preschool.
Along with meeting the preschool’s statement of faith requirements, the staff and educators at Genesis Preschool will also be required to meet state and federal requirements as detailed in the Certified Child Care Centers handbook.
